WWDC
Friday, August 11th, 2006Yes, I did again get an invitation from Apple to attend the WWDC, but I couldn’t attend this year due to my travels in Turkestan (Central Asia). Still, I did follow the announcements for sure and I am quite annoyed by the (so far) announced feature set of upcoming Leopard. I am however happy to note there will at last be garbage collection added to the Objective-C language and at least some of the long-outstanding, most-often used refactoring tools will be added to the XCode IDE. I am eager to test this out – I don’t know yet how I’ll manage to get a copy of the 10.5 WWDC build in my hands here (Does anyone know if the developer seed is sent out to ADC Student Members?).
